Il locale è stato inaugurato il 10 giugno 1999. La famiglia proviene dal settore della ristorazione in quanto gestisce il bar “Due Stadi” famoso per il panino piacentino (apertura alle 4,30 e chiusura alle 20,00). Con il self-service “Intermezzo” si è voluto dare un servizio alla zona artigianale con un bel locale luminoso che apre alle 7,00 del mattino con colazioni bar e che dalle 12,00 alle 15,00 fa un servizio un pò insolito perché la pasta è fatta in casa e la preparazione vieneeffettuata al momento. Vengono serviti secondi di carne, pesce e verdure grigliate e a vapore. Infine vi sono i desserts fatti in casa: mousse, tiramisù, semifreddi e torte. Esiste un dehors invernale riscaldato e con aria condizionata in estate. Il locale ha una capienza di 140 posti. Si chiude alle 18,00.

With the opening of the self- service “Intermezzo”, the family has wanted to give a service to the artisan area with a bright and comfortable local. It opens at 7,00 in the morning by serving breakfast and from 12,00 to 15,00 it makes an unusual service as the pasta is all home-made and it is made ready on the moment. The second courses that are served consist of meat, fish and grilled or boiled vegetables. The home-made desserts are: mousse, “tiramisu “ and tarts. There is a winter heated dehors which, in summer, it has air conditioned. There are 140 seats. The local closes at 18,30.
